Get in touch with the FSM Bibles team. Our executive officers and members serve the Bible translation and digital distribution ministry across the Federated States of Micronesia.
The FSM Bibles project is a collaborative effort dedicated to making Scripture accessible to communities throughout the Federated States of Micronesia, including Pohnpei, Kosrae, Yap, and Chuuk. Through digital platforms and translation work, the ministry seeks to preserve and share God's word in the heart languages of the region, including Pohnpeian, Chuukese, Yapese, and Kosraen. The project brings together local churches, translators, and digital developers who share a common vision of connecting people with the Bible in formats that speak to their daily lives and cultural contexts.
At the heart of this work is a deep commitment to translation accuracy and cultural relevance. Translators labor carefully to render Scripture in ways that resonate with native speakers while remaining faithful to the original texts. Beyond translation, the team develops digital tools and online resources that allow believers to read, search, and share the Bible through modern technology. Hymn collections and worship resources are also being digitized so that congregations can continue to sing praises in their own languages, preserving musical traditions that have long been central to island worship.
The ministry is guided by a dedicated group of executive officers and members who volunteer their time and talents to advance the mission across the islands. These leaders coordinate translation projects, oversee digital development, and maintain communication with local churches and partners. Their work requires careful planning, prayerful discernment, and a spirit of service that reflects the gospel they seek to share. Each project, whether large or small, contributes to a broader effort to ensure that no community is left without access to Scripture in a language they understand.
Visitors to the site are invited to explore the many resources available, from Bible texts and hymn books to news about ongoing translation efforts and ministry updates. Those who feel called to participate can learn more about how to get involved, whether through prayer, partnership, or practical support. The FSM Bibles project stands as a testament to what can be accomplished when believers across different islands and language groups unite around a shared purpose: making the good news of Jesus Christ known to every person in the Federated States of Micronesia and beyond.
